Feel free to hit the river - just a walk down the Cedar Valley Dr, or sit back, relax and enjoy Boardgames, books, puzzles, and Smart TV inside the house will make you relaxed after a long day of hiking and exploring! Nature lovers will absolutely adore this property, with plenty of wildlife nearby and a 360* view of the surrounding mountains. If you need to check in early or check out late, we strongly recommend booking an additional night on the front end or back end of your stay. This will allow you to check in as early or check out as late as you need. Located in Cedar Valley, a mountain community above 3500 ft, just shy of Yosemite's southern entrance, and 8 miles away from Bass Lake! Plenty of fishing, hiking, and exploring all within walking distance or a short driving distance! You can walk, or drive 2 minutes to the Lewis creek hiking trail. Which has one of my favorite waterfalls in California. It's got great swimming holes to cool off in the summer. WALKING distance to famed Lewis Creek Trail - The two waterfalls bookending this trail make it a memorable - Corlieu Falls, downstream from the trailhead, is an 80 foot series of cascades in a narrow canyon. Red Rock Falls is shorter, at about 20 feet, but compensates in width and power. Walking distance to lake, river, creek and famous trails. Car is needed for other destinations. The peacefulness and tranquility of the home and the property will have you never wanting to leave! Please note: Indoor fireplaces AND outdoor fire pits are NOT allowed during county-wide burn bans, which often occur in the summer and fall months. Outdoor BBQ grills and propane fire pits are allowed year-round.

September 2023 3.00First time leaving bad review like this. The most annoying manager I ever see in Airbnb. The original checkout time is 10 am, and I asked for checking out at 11 am because we have 2 infants with us. The manager said no, which is fine. No flexibility, but that’s what I booked. Then I got couple messages everyday I stayed there. Stating that I must checkout at 10 am the last day. Not sure how other people feel, but I feel that’s pretty annoying. Check in time is 4 pm, and the rule said, early check in will cause penalty for us. Same as late checkout. They kind of trying to minimize time you stay there and kick you out ASAP! The facility is not at good condition too. Only one bathroom has exhaust fan downstairs. The two upstairs doesn’t. Downstairs is around 5-10 degrees colder than upstairs and walking down is pretty difficult. You need to be very skinny to walk down inside the house. And some other issues. Not suggesting staying here unless you have no other options.

August 2023 5.00The property is close to Yosemite Park entrance, which was helpful for us to avoid long lines to enter the park. The place was clean and the game room was a plus. My only complaint is about the fact that the management team did not replace the light bulbs from the kitchen since only one of the three was working and it was quite dark. They initially said they would get it fixed the next day, but nothing happened. After I contacted them again they said that the light bulbs were out of stock :)

August 2023 4.00Great stay!! Felt very cozy but there was some minor repairs that needed to be made on the single bed frame downstairs. Host was very understanding and responsive!
