Modern and Majestic Mountain House near Yosemite

Everything was great for our stay at this place for 6 days. Very convenient and hosts were responsive. I suggest this place for groups over 10.

Management Company/Host was very responsive pre-check-in and answered all questions. There was a slight delay during check-in due to cleaning that was responded to quickly, so no big deal. Area is pretty private and was easy to find. Good amount of space to walk around the property and to see some wild life (Deer, quails, frogs, etc) Bring kitchen essentials that you might need such as cooking oil, condiments and etc. Pool table was cool to have. House offered pack and play so very useful to travelers with young kids.

Good The property, while not the newest, was comfortable and relaxing, located near a pleasant town. Its numerous amenities, such as a fireplace and hot tub, were nice. Although initially missing steps, the hot tub issue was promptly fixed. Needs work Our check-in process was subpar. Despite our arrival at the agreed-upon time of 4 PM, we were left waiting until almost 6 PM. Upon querying, the agent initially claimed ignorance of our arrival time. However, when confronted with the agreed-upon time, he explained a late check-out had delayed cleaning. To compensate, he offered to adjust our fee. The cleanliness of the property was acceptable but could have been better, as it seemed to lack a thorough vacuuming. Finally, the issue of missing hand and dish towels was not handled professionally. Despite our clear communication, the agent insisted the towels were present and responded condescendingly to our claims. Only upon presenting photographic evidence did he provide towels.

The house was as described and the host was very responsive and answered all our questions we had.

Positive: - Fast responses from the management staff - Very clean, including the carpets, which is RARE. We have dust/mite allergies and usually need to wear masks (in addition to bringing another layer of sheets of our own) when staying in a hotel. But NO reactions whatsoever during the 3-night stay here! - Loved the environment -- small creek in the back, close-by oak trees inviting owls and quails among other birds, and swallows living under the roof :) Negative: - The oven had lots of stains. But not a big issue because we didn't need to use it. - Slight confusion on minor stuff like the security key locks, garage usage, some missing furniture components, and incomplete labeling on some switches.

This property is a shining jewel amidst an already adventure-filled location. The folks that oversee this property really went above and beyond to ensure our stay went without a hitch! No complaints from us and would definitely book this property second and third time knowing we’d be taken care of! 5 out of 5!

Overall we enjoyed out stay. The management team was very proactive whenever we had an issue and helped resolve it right away. We loved the pool table and hot tub! Location was beautiful! A few things that could have been better: -No cable at all in the house: we would have loved knowing this in advance as it's the basketball playoffs and we would have brought DVDs to be more prepared. -Oven did not work at all. -Kitchen pots and pans are very dated and difficult to use/cook with. -Coffee machines were filthy, we had to thoroughly clean them before we could use them. -Cleaning crew clearly does not check under the couch cushions. We were looking for a missing remote and found a ton of crumbs and trash under the couch cushions. Very gross!

Great, comfy and clean house - ideal for stays of 3+ nights Positive: - Nice, spacious house in a quiet and relaxing setting. - Very clean. - Equipped with all you need. - Super fast and responsive service, if needed (so much appreciated) Negative: - Some things are too complicated for short rentals (auto timer on hot tub, central heating/cooling, visit from service needed for fireplace).

Given the winter storm we encounter unexpectedly, it was very unpleasant to not have warm water to shower or flush toilets. I believe their cleanliness of the house did not meet our expectations. If a house is going to provide carpet, and set high expectations for cleanliness, we were surprise to see so how many stains and damages the property has.

Mike was fantastic and stayed in communication with us throughout our entire stay. He attended every one of our needs with care and professionalism. The home itself is beautiful and clean. Our only minor comment is how some of the descriptions of beds are worded. There is only a very uncomfortable futon in the living room and a couch that does not fold out. However, there is a pullout under the bunk bed that can easily be overlooked. The bunk bed is also extremely squeaky, so just a note for any light sleepers. Other than that, we have enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Oakhurst again soon.

We had a great stay at this property. Everything was as described in the listing. The property management company and maintenance guy were friendly and responsive. The location is secluded and the houses in the neighborhood have a lot of space between them with lots of privacy. The area has very nice views and there is a creek in the backyard. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cozy home, just as described! Very clean and tidy!!! Beautiful views and very private property, my family and I loved our stay. Not to mention, very easy check in and check out instructions. The host was very very easy to get a hold of and had great service. We’ll be back soon!!!

There were 9 of us and we all slept comfortably. The heating worked really well. The gas fireplace was easy to use and actually warmed us up pretty well. The whole house was clean and really appreciated the fridge being empty. Been in Airbnbs where it wasn’t. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinners for 9 of us. We didn’t use the hot tub so can’t comment on that. It was a very nice stay. Definitely would come again.

I truly enjoyed my stay! It was a mountain majesty. My family and I enjoyed all of the amenities such as; jacuzzi and fire pit for s’mores. Everyone had enough space to relax, play games and enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving 2022! Thank You

Not great for dog owners. There is an extra fee for 1-2 pets and additional fee for each above that. In the checkin notes it said only dogs under 40 pounds our dogs are larger than that but being the day before there was nothing we could do about it. They also request no pets on the carpet- the entire house is carpeted so that is not a reasonable request. No fenced in area so we had to leash our dogs to take them out. The host let us know that the previous renters did not check out on time and they were in a crunch to get things prepared for our arrival, so some of the things that were less than stellar may be excusable- ie molding food left in the pantry. We were also disappointed that when we checked in the hottub was at 60 degrees and did not warm up fast enough to use it the first night. The gas tanks on the BBQ and the fire pit were both empty. Indoor fire wasn't working. The main bed/bath are spacious, other rooms pretty small. We enjoyed the pool table. Host responded quickly

My friends and I stayed here for four nights and couldn’t have been happier. Nestled off the main stretch of town, this lovely and cozy spot will have you breathing fresh air, and if you’re lucky, spot a family of deer casually passing through the back or front yard! Great stay!!

The place is extremely clean and has everything they should have for guests. We really enjoyed the fireplaces out side (They provide the firewood and lighter fluid. The host is very responsive. Highly recommended!!

my new wife and I spent a couple nights here as our mini-honeymoon. we loved the the decor as it felt like home. Bed was comfy, and it had all we needed to cook breakfast in the morning. played a game or two of pool and sat on the balcony to enjoy the cool air of the outdoors. we loved it so much, thinking about making this a family getaway rental for the coming years. seems like it'd be a great place to bring the kids and grandkids.!!

We’ve had much better Airbnb experiences at a cheaper price. We came off of a big hike, and there was no laundry detergent to wash our clothes. The ac vents upstairs weren’t working properly so it was an unpleasant experience sleeping at night. There was no toothpaste in the bathrooms which we have seen in all Airbnbs we visited around the country. So naturally some of us didn’t bring any hoping we’ll have toiletries. The Keurig was broken. It wasn’t brewing coffee in the morning. The folding bed wasn’t unfolding, and when it did it was crooked. The listing was for 12 people i tentatively mentioned 8 for booking paying the original price, but when we had 3 more friends come later, we had to pay around $95 more. Response time was good and the place was clean, but very underwhelming living experience when half the amenities don’t work

We arrived a little after 4pm to this beautiful home situated in the mountains with great views. This was our annual family vacation at Bass Lake. Houses around the lake are hard to find for under $1200 a night, so we decided to stay outside of the lake and just drive. This is a close location to the stores. House has everything a large group could need. Also has a hot tub for nighttime stargazing. It could use some maintenance/updates. The kitchen table is lovey but the chairs cushions are ripped up. The twin bunk bed is squeaky and they left the plastic on the mattresses, so you felt like you were 4 years old again. We had an issue with plumbing and the ice maker on the first day. They couldn’t make it until the next day. After some time, it all worked out. Overall it was a comfortable stay and we enjoyed the deer that would visit in the morning.

A very clean and well maintained property. Peaceful and serene backyard, with grill and a hot tub to relax. Checkin process was very easy and host was very interactive and helpful. An ideal getaway if you want to spend a weekend with family and friends.

The property was beautiful! The location was wonderful, the views lovely. It was also extremely well stocked, ample towels and a kitchen pantry that included not just essentials but also a bunch of gourmet items (avocado oil, kind granola bars etc). The host was extremely responsive, helped us troubleshoot some WiFi issue (resolved almost immediately). They were also very easygoing with the checkout instructions which I really appreciated. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property and host!

What a beautiful home in the area. There are lots of supplies were providing to the property. The house is very spacious and great for a big family. Super convenience to get to common places (approximately 7 min) the house is very clean in and out. I would definitely come back here again.

OK where do I start? we checked in after sun down and the house was lit up just as in the pictures! Almost Like New and with a great view, and very private with no neighbors on any sides. When you enter you are greeted by an awesome pool table. The short climb on the hill that this house backs up to is just fun enough in the early morning. This would be a great place for little kids and teens to explore while keeping an eye on them. We grabbed a cup of coffee the next day early and climbed up to a nice vantage point to enjoy breathtaking early morning views of the valley. You need to rise very early to see the deer grazing on the front yard. This was a perfect mountain getaway with a hill to explore in your backyard 😊. A modern and clean space with high ceiling is what we needed.. it was a short stay but we had great fun shooting pool till late in the night… we really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to coming back soon.
